The first generation Volvo S60 replaced the previous generation P80 S70. Built on Volvo's P2 platform, the S60 sold in North America from 2001-2009. The S60 is a small luxury/sport sedan and featured with several options ranging from front-wheel-drive naturally aspirated five-cylinder models to all-wheel drive low-pressure turbo models. Two high performance, high-pressure turbo models were produced, the S60 T5, and the 300 horsepower S60R.
