The Volvo P80 chassis was introduced in 1993 with the Volvo 850. P80 chassis cars include models from 1993-2000 such as the Volvo 850, S70, and V70. It also includes Volvo C70 models from 1998-2004. P80 chassis cars were available in AWD for the V70XC, S70 AWD, V70 AWD, and V70R models. There were also high-performance versions such as the 850R, and 850T5R, S70 T5, V70 T5 and V70R. All P80 chassis cars had 5 cylinder engines, FWD models had McPherson front suspension with Delta-Link rear suspension, AWD models had Muli-Link rear suspension instead.
