Braking
Your braking system is one of the most important systems in your entire car - in regards to occupancy safety, frequency of use, and even from the perspective of performance.
Braking systems are almost always hydraulic. They use your input on the brake pedal to build pressure, push brake fluid through the brake lines, and subsequently push the pistons in the brake calipers to induce friction between your brake pads and the rotating brake disc. This slows and stops your vehicle.
All of the associated systems in this process, from your brake fluid, to pads and discs, to hoses and calipers, are all vital to keep in good condition in order to obtain optimal performance. Read more about the components in you braking system at FCP Euro's own Brake Hub!
Responsible for generating friction and slowing the rotation of brake rotors to stop the vehicle, brake pads serve as a friction surface and are clamped by the brake caliper to stop the rotor from spinning. Pad materials will typically be "ceramic" or "metallic."
Shop Brake Pads
Acting as a friction surface for the brake pads to scrub upon and responsible for heat dissipation, brake discs can be easily inspected to determine when replacement is due.
Shop Brake Discs
The hydraulic fluid responsible for the actuation of your brake calipers and directly for stopping your vehicle; brake fluid is hygroscopic and needs to be serviced regularly.
Shop Brake Fluid
Brake calipers work like clamps on your brakes. They house the brake pads and are the final stop for brake fluid, which pushes pistons inside the caliper. These pistons press the pads against the rotors, creating the friction that slows you down.

Oil Services
Keeping your engine oil and filter fresh is the strongest "first-line-of-defense" in lifetime engine health. It ensures that high-stress surfaces stay properly lubricated, keeps contaminants from circulating your engine, and also helps to prevent internal deposits and carbon accumulation.
Fresh and regularly-changed oil and a quality filter will remove contaminants and prevent gunk accumulation in areas like the timing chain tensioning system or within VANOS/VVT solenoids and lines. Servicing your oil regularly and consistently will maximize the lifespan of these components.

The all-inclusive kit for a complete oil change, built by our experts for your Euro.
Shop Oil Change Kits
As the engine's primary lubricant, oil serves to prevent wear and tear, maintain engine efficiency, reduce friction, and keep the engine internals running optimally.
Shop Oil
Oil filters should be replaced alongside every oil change. They keep the oil clean and prevent engine damage by capturing dirt, metal shavings, and other foreign debris.
Shop Oil Filters
Recommended to be added with every 5th oil change (25k miles), oil additives remove deposits and residues, dissolve sludge, improve the combustion process, and prevent corrosion of unprotected metal surfaces.

Suspension
Few things are more rewarding than a suspension service or upgrade, be it an upgrade, an overhaul, or basic maintenance. From the replacement of a failing bushing or ball joint to get rid of that annoying clunk, a damper service to restore predictable handling dynamics, or a full coilover install to head to the track, suspension upgrades are felt immediately.
If you want to learn more about your suspension, how it works, and how to take care of it, check out FCP Euro's Suspension Hub!
The "Gold Standard" in performance suspension, coilovers provide adjustability tailored to your taste - ride height, damping stiffness, and alignment adjustment may be common depending upon application.
Shop Coilover Suspension
Working in tandem with your springs, shocks and struts soften bumps and distribute vehicle load during cornering applications.
Shop Shock Absorbers
Springs work in tandem with your shock absorbers to deliver a smooth ride and performance-minded handling.
Shop Springs
Ball joints and bushings absorb shock and deflection, keeping your cabin quiet, ride smooth, and tires firmly planted on the pavement. A common culprit for your new knock or squeak over bumps.
Shop Bushings and Ball Joints
Generally integrating a combination of ball joints and bushings, control arms keep your wheels connected to the subframe and work under very high-stress conditions. Your latest clunk, squeak, or bump may be due to a tired ball joint of bushing.
Shop Control Arms
Tying opposite sides of your vehicle together, sway bars and end links work to stiffen across the front or rear axle. This aids in high-stress handling environments, but also promotes smooth cruising in regular use.

Cooling
Staying up-to-date on cooling maintenance can greatly extend engine life and increase power by preventing overheating and increasing efficiency. Cooling is vital for any engine as it keeps overall temperatures down, and in forced induction applications, keeps oil temperatures level in turbochargers and air cool through superchargers. Proper oil and coolant temperatures are mandatory to control in any car to protect your engine’s health.
Radiators are designed to pull heat as coolant circulates through to keep the engine from overheating.
Shop Radiators
Thermostats regulate the coolant flow through the engine. Staying closed when cold, and open when warm.

Filters
Filters come in numerous shapes and sizes, including an air intake filter, fuel filter, cabin air filter, oil filter, transmission filter, and more. No matter the purpose, filters are responsible for keeping debris out of their respective internal components for optimal performance, are vital to replace, and are commonly neglected. Shop by brand or category to ensure you receive the product you need for your next DIY.

Wheel Bearings
Wheel bearings, though hidden from plain sight, serve the role of supporting the vehicle's weight and reduce rotational friction, located within the wheel hub/spindle. While shopping, it’s important to know what you need and how to properly maintain your wheel bearings. Typically, three types of wheel bearings are used: unsealed, sealed press-in, and wheel bearing/hub assemblies.
Unsealed bearings, common in pre-1990 cars, require regular greasing, while sealed bearings, used from the 1990s onward, are maintenance-free and must be replaced when worn. Modern bearings integrates the wheel bearing into the hub assembly, simplifying replacement by bolting in a new unit.
A wheel bearing is a set of steel balls within a metal ring, which is called a race. Your hub mounts to the wheel bearing, allowing your wheels to rotate.
Shop Bearing & Hub Assemblies
Driveshafts connect the transmission to the differential. As the transmission sends torque through the driveshaft, it transfers that rotational force to the differential, which then distributes it to the wheels.

Lighting
Whether shopping for LED aftermarket bulbs, modern Xenon housings, nostalgic Halogen replacements, or fog light upgrades, lights are one of your vehicle's most important safety features. Headlights cut through the night, allowing you to see, tailights alert everyone around as you slow down, and turn signals allow those passing by to know your next move. Lighting is not just limited to the basics, though, as interior lights, license plate bulbs, and fog lights all play a part in keeping you and others on the road safe.
When replacing headlight housings or bulbs, don’t miss the final installation step to get the most of your headlights by properly adjusting them; watch here! How To Adjust Your Vehicle’s Headlights
A headlight assembly generally consists of a headlight housing, lens, mounts, adjusting units, and a reflector. Some Halogen assemblies may come with bulbs, most HID headlight assemblies do not include bulbs or other electrical units.
